Meet the team!
Papa & Nana
The Founders
The ranch started with Joe & Margie, now known as Papa and Nana, many decades ago. While they are still living on the ranch, they are less involved with the outdoor ranch activities now but continue to stay busy. Nana always baking delicious items to share with the whole family, and papa still keeping us on our toes and making sure we are all keeping busy!
Po & Lala
Joe and Jenny, now known as Po & Lala (no... not named after the Teletubbies but named by the grand babies) took over the ranch and have been keeping it going for 35 years.
Joe was the first to explore the ranch to table idea that has started us on this wonderful journey we are all on now! He works in all facets of the ranch, makes the tough decisions, directs the team, works with the cattle, stays awake at night thinking about our next steps, and wondering how he can protect us all!
Jenny lends a hand whenever and where ever necessary. She carries out a range of responsibilities. She will do social media posts (very reluctantly) ;) She absolutely loves being with her family! Loves being outdoors and working with the cattle. & Her real joy is cooking for her whole family!
Jd, Danielle & Wade
JD is our JZ Meats packing guru and inventory go to! He is also one of our social media faces, helps with tech, helps break horses, an amazing chef, and works with the cattle. Dani, JD's wife, helps in writing our newsletters, offers support where needed and is another one of the awesome chefs on this ranch, specializing in delicious sour dough bread making!
And they both are busy keeping up with their amazing son Wade! Jd and Danielle and Wade are anxiously awaiting their newest addition arriving in 2026!
Jc, Briana, James, Ally, & Jace
JC is our go to ranch support in many facets! This includes: ranch upkeep, breaking horses, banking😉, a fabulous cook and works with the cattle. Briana, JC's wife, helps with ranch support, helping in ranch upkeep, helps do the math-ing for our products, and is another one of the awesome chefs of this ranch!
They both keep extremely busy keeping up with their 2 awesome sons, James and Jace and their beautiful daughter Ally!
Jake, Vanessa, Jesse & Julian
Jake is our face for social media, is the manager of all our livestock, keeping them on the perfect amount and kind of grass to make the delicious meat we offer to you!! Vanessa, Jake's wife is our tech specialist, our social media wizard, and works with the cattle! They keep themselves busy chasing after their 2 wonderful sons Jesse and Julian!
As you probably noticed, every single family member works with our cattle from the oldest to the youngest. Ranching has been our love and passion through these 4 generations and we are beyond proud, honored and excited to bring this most exquisite product to your family. We hope your family can feel as close to each other and God as this family has been blessed to.
